Medical Lab Technology (MLT)

A healthcare professional who performs various haematological, serological, histopathological and biochemical assays on body fluids like blood, CSF, sputum and excretory products is known as a Medical Lab Technician. They generally work under the supervision of pathologists. A graduate of B. Voc in MLT is an all-rounder as far as technologies in a medical laboratory is concerned. In order to have completed the degree, students go through classroom lectures, practical classes aided by hands-on training and lab internship.
